Hi G, coming over from Cardiff to see Team Sky ride the TT in Nice in a few weeks, with Rusty the Mad man from Bristol, any request for those wonderful Welshcakes from ‘Fabulous Welshcakes’ down Cardiff Bay, choccy ones are yummy!
Hey G, thought I would say good luck this season and keep the videos coming. Do you have plans for coming to the States? It would be really cool to see you here for interbike. Give it a thought!
Cheers,
Keith
Thanks Ben:)
Thanks Allison. I was just going to leave the map of Wales on but just realised a lot of foreigners probably won’t know that. So watch this space… Thanks for the support!
Toby, I crash too much when I go mtb!! I only brave that once or twice in the winter months.
Gav, sadly I won’t be riding the classics as I’ll be in Melbourne. I am now concentrating fully on the team pursuit on the track for the Olympics
Colin Goodman. What sort of question is that?!? WALES every time!!
Sorry Steve where’s that? I was in Manchester then, and would have been riding to and from the velodrome, if that helps…
Anna, very good point and question! For sure I think that would be amazing to be a part of… I could ride well for Cav and Brad but at the end of the day if they win it is ultimately down to them. But the home Olympics is my ‘journey’ and what drives me. It’s all down to me and my 3 team mates.
Sorry I missed you in Adelaide Nicola. Next time just come and say hi at the start to finish!
Love the new site, looks awesome. Good luck at the Velodrome and the year ahead
Hi Geraint
As Welsh myself, I’m so pleased for you doing so well and for actively and proudly representing Wales. But why is the Welsh flag missing from your new website? I hope you ask for it to be added, alongside the shape of Wales.
You’re an inspiration to a lot of people and watching races such as the TOF is so much more exciting now. I was at the Col de Caerphilly last year to cheer you on, I thought you were going to fall off your bike I was shouting so loudly!
Good luck at the Olympics and best wishes.
Allison
ever thought about hooking up with the atherton clan in wales? would be awesome seeing mtb and road worlds collide! loving british cycling and the role sky is having on the circuit. ur website is looking good too btw good luck in 2012 twitter.com/tobygardener
Whats your plans for the spring classics? Reckon you’ve got to be favourite along with Flecha
Wales or England in the 6 nations?
Hi G,
Was that you in the pouring rain cycling down the washday road today (thursday 9/2). Awfull day for training!
Cheers
Steve

Geraint Thomas wore the white jersey in the Tour de France 10 times.
4 in 2010, 6 in 2011.
[Alright... looked at it again, in broad daylight, and came to the conclusion that, no, actually I don't think my question was just as silly as the one above... at least not to the same degree, not in the same way, and apart from the silliness that's inherent to each and every 'what if' question of course. But I also came to the conclusion that, yes, it most definitely was an unfair one.
Sincere apologies.]
Hello there, first of all: Good luck for 2012!! And right now: for Willunga!
[And well done to whoever chose this great Paris-Roubaix photo for the slide show!]
I’ve been sitting around a bit, waiting for a live stream, making coffee not war for reasons of a TDU nature and, unfortunately, got a little carried away again…
About this whole home Olympics vs TdF thing… I know, decisions have already been made, and I always thought I’d understand: home Olympics IS a massive thing for sure.. and there ARE plenty of Tours still to come of course… and it certainly IS a silly question to ask whether you’d rather win the gold medal or the yellow jersey this year… But something’s just occured to me. For the first time ever…
What if Bradley Wiggins actually wins the yellow jersey this year?! As the first Brit ever… I mean, being part of that would be a once in a lifetime opportunity, too, wouldn’t it…? (Let alone being part of some crazy yellow/green double story…)
I’m pretty sure that athletes generally try to avoid thinking too much about missed opportunities, and maybe it’s a downright unfair question (just as silly as the one above) but, seriously, doesn’t the thought of possibly missing THAT drive you a little crazy?!
Hi Geraint
it is good to watch a Welshman in the cycling, we watched you in the Tour De France in 2011 where you done really well, we are also watching you in the Tour Down Under at present
we moved to Australia in 2003 from Baglan, Port Talbot in South Wales,
it would be nice if possible to try and meet you in Adelaide before the tour finishes.
All the best
Wayne & Nicola Edwards
